Bernardine Dohrn is the founder and former director of the Children and Family Justice Center at the Bluhm Legal Clinic of Northwestern Law School. She has advocated for fair sentencing for children, for applying international human rights standards here at home, and for ending the over incarceration of children of color. Bernardine Rae Dohrn (b. 1942) is a retired law professor from Northwestern University and the former leader of the Weather Underground Organization, a radical-left militant group prolific during the Vietnam War Era.
